
Elizabeth has been teaching piano since 1995. She started in Oxfordshire, where she also ran successful music groups for parents and toddlers. Moving to Somerset in 2000, she continued her passion for music education, impacting numerous children and their families.
In 2005, Elizabeth transitioned from a career in law to become a Primary School teacher, where she further developed her skills by running choirs and accompanying school events. Over the past 20 years in Somerset, Elizabeth has taught piano to a diverse range of students, both children and adults, focusing on making music an enjoyable and enriching experience.
Teaching Philosophy and Methods:
Elizabeth believes in the emotional and spiritual enrichment that music brings. Her goal is for students to feel like musicians, creatively exploring a wide range of musical styles. She emphasises fun in learning, adapting lessons to ensure students enjoy the pieces they play. Elizabeth’s approach includes a mix of rote learning, note reading, and interactive methods, tailored to each student’s needs and abilities.
